Terms of service
A plain-language summary of the agreement between you and Suyaara, written to be read once and understood rather than skimmed and accepted.
Who may use Suyaara
You must be at least 18 to hold an account. A performer under 18 may have a profile only where it is created and controlled by a verified parent or legal guardian using guardian mode.
Hiring accounts must be held by a registered entity or an individual who can evidence the production they are casting. We verify company registration, tax registration and a named responsible person before any listing goes live.
Charging talent is prohibited
No account may request money from a performer or creator at any stage of a casting process. This covers registration, portfolios, screen tests, shortlisting, processing, membership and refundable deposits, however they are described.
Breaching this results in permanent removal of the account and any associated accounts. Where a payment has been taken, we will support the affected member in recovering it and will report the matter to the relevant authorities.
Payments and escrow
A listing cannot be published until the fee for it is funded into Suyaara Pay. Funds are released to the performer or creator on approval of the work, ordinarily within 48 hours.
If a hiring account takes no action within seven days of the work being marked complete, funds release automatically to the performer. Disputes are reviewed by our trust desk, and both parties may submit evidence.
Our verification commitment
If a production house we have verified takes money from you in breach of these terms, or fails to pay an escrow-funded booking, Suyaara will make you whole up to the contracted amount and will pursue recovery ourselves.
This commitment applies to bookings created and completed on the platform. It does not extend to arrangements moved off Suyaara, which is the main reason we ask members to keep communication and contracting here.
Content and ownership
You keep ownership of the photographs, tapes, recordings and content you upload. You grant Suyaara a licence to display that material to verified hiring accounts and, where you have made your profile public, in search results.
Content produced under a booking is governed by the contract generated for that booking. Any transfer of ownership, usage window, whitelisting right or exclusivity must appear there as an explicit, priced term.
Ending your account
You can close your account at any time from settings. Paid plans run to the end of the period already paid for and then stop. We keep transaction records where law requires, and remove profile content within thirty days.
We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and we will always tell you why unless doing so would compromise an investigation.
